Youth Staff
There's a great team of youth workers who are making our high school ministry a top priority...and it shows! From Sunday mornings to dodgeball to iLive, this ministry is about connecting high schoolers with Christ and building a community with leaders who passionately and creatively pursue God.

If there were a movie made about your life, what would be the title? "I Should've Been A Cowboy"
At the Jabbok River, Jacob entered into a wrestling match with God. This "wrestling match" was an encounter with God which enabled Jacob to live out his faith. The Jabbok River was a place where his faith was reconciled with his life.
My desire for Paradox is that it would be a place where faith meets life. Far too often, Christianity is boiled down to a belief system to adhere to, rather tahn a life to be lived. Paradox will be a place where students learn the truth, but more than that, it will be a place where students are enabled to live out their faith in an unashamed manner.
To accomplish this, I, with the help of many others, have identified four core values which will equip Paradox to serve as the Jabbok River for high school students in the Beavercreek area. Those core values are:
Community: A place of authentic relationships and belonging
Experiential: Experiencing Christ rather than hearing about Him
Holistic: Living up to our intended wholeness
Missional: Becoming servants who fulfill the mission of God, not just serving

Why are you involved in youth ministry? I love teens! They are wonderful to talk to, I love listening to them and learning how God is working in their lives! It is very important for today's teens to have a place to be able to ask questions, to develop their own realationship with Christ and figure out how to live and love as Christ taught us. As they mature over the four years and get ready to leave for college, I want them to have a firm foundation and a solid base of Scripture to hold on to as they go into a world that is changing very quickly. BCN has an amazing youth ministry program that has meant a lot to my family.
